This is the original Samsonite Cruisair Bold suitcase. In recent years, it has been superseded by the newer and updated Samsonite Cruisair DLX suitcase. We get asked a lot what the difference is between the Cruisair Bold and the Cruisair DLX. The answer is pretty clear: they are almost the exact same suitcase but the Cruisair DLX has an updated outer polycarbonate shell.
We think the styling on the Cruisair DLX is a little nicer but the main features that make this suitcase stand out from the pack are still the same. The sturdy aluminum tongue-and-groove aluminum frame with an integrated TSA compliant lock, the fully lined interior and the riveted hinged system are all exactly the same on both of these cases.
Like we said earlier, the only difference between these suitcases seems to be the outer shell. Both shells are composed of 100 percent polycarbonate but each with a slightly different pattern.
The Samsonite Cruisair Bold may not be on the market for too much longer but that means, if you can find one, the prices will have come down as people move towards the newer Cruisair DLX.Comes in three sizes: (Measurements do not include handle and wheels)
